Week 14: La Gripe* (*The Flu) and Rolled Ankles
It was a pretty good week in Oxapampa!! Pensamientos espirituales for este semana* (*spiritual thoughts for this week): “Be not afraid, only believe” by Uchtdorf, “There are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of.” – Hamlet, DyC 58:27. Last P-day, we couldn't find a combi to predicted Catarata La Suiza- so we went to Los Pinos, a fantastic adventure hike to lots of pine trees! It was a chévere hike, and we played cards and got eaten alive by bugs- normal normal. ☺


Week 13: Adelante como Elefante!* (*Forward like an Elephant!)
This week was one of the best weeks yet- complete with the news that this will be my third transfer here in Oxapampa and today is officially my three month mark! Week 11: The Week I got Alva Addicted to Mentos
Fantastic week- it went simultaneously quite rapido y lento! Raro. Pero bien.:)* (*fast and slow! Rare. But well.) Last Monday was a very long day. We biked 30 mins to Chontabamba (the Oxa elderes and us) and went to Rancho Victoria, where we met loros* (*parrots) that said "Hola!" when we walked up (bien asustante, jaja!* (*while frightening, hahah!))
