P-day! :) Today, we decided to go to Loysi's, where we made chocolate chip cookies and helped her clean her house! :) It was really fun and relaxing. Luego* (*Then), we went out to work! And a little boy that always bugs everyone came up and kicked me. but hey! We got to the cita* (*appointment) okay! :) We visited Otilia, member, and talked about divine identities, challenging their family to share the gospel more. :)
En Martes* (*On Tuesday), a recuperating sister from an appendix surgery came to live with us and rest for a week! So in the morning, we bought them food, then ran to Concepcion for Hna Calderon's birthday. :) After lunch, we went looking for a reference from the ward and found his parents, less actives, Familia Ventura* (*The Ventura Family)! We taught them from 1 Nefi 21. :) Luego* (*Then), came the MIRACLE! We went to see Mary and Leonardo! We read Mosiah 18 and talked about the baptismal covenants and MARY TOLD US THAT SHE WANTS TO BE BAPTIZED ASAP. Then she set her own date for June 3rd! :D What a sweet miracle. :) Luego, we visited Evelyn, new investigator, and talked about our purpose before going to Antonia y Edgardo, investigators, and talking about the LDM* (*Book of Mormon)! I also hit 15 months today. :D woah.

We talked about the pre earth life. :) We contacted a bit before visiting Luis, converso* (*convert), and Jorge, menos active* (*less active), and talking about the whole Plan de Salvacion* (*Plan of Salvation)! :)
On Thursday, we went and visited the Mariscal sisters in their new room! :) They’re doing super well. :) Luego* (*Then), we went to Bertha's and Cristhian's (members) and did service with them, cooking the famous TACOS. :D We contacted most of the tarde* (*afternoon) and found tons of cool new people to start visiting and teaching next week! :D

We visited LinSu, investigator, and talked about the importance of the combination of faith and action, contacted, and visited Jimmy, new investigator, a reference from the ward! :D They've been apoyando* (*supporting) us much more. :) We talked about the LDM* (*The Book of Mormon) and God's love for him. :) Luego* (*Then), we visited Luis (converso), Jorge (less active), and Oscar (new investigator) and talked about the importance of standing firm in our convictions with Monson's Mormon message Dare to Stand Alone. Good day! :D Por fin encontrabamos nuevos* (*Finally some new investigators)!!!
Saturday began with a journey to Jauja to see the sisters! On the way back, I got the dreaded and COMPLETELY unanticipated cambios* (*transfers) call- I'm headed to La Alameda, Huanuco, still as a sister leader! :D For those of you who remember, I came to this same area in March of last year when I got to the mission field with Hna Cushcagua and Hna Quispe. So it's pretty cool to be able to go back, but OH will I miss Tambo. I love this place and these people so much. :( We basically spent all Saturday and Sunday saying goodbye to everyone. BUT HEY! On Sunday, Luis and Jorge got the priesthood, Jorge is officially a recent rescue, and the ward wants to give them callings as ward secretaries!!!! :D On Sunday night, I left in a bus for Huanuco and I got here at 5:40 ish am this morning! Changes: it is HOT here, really pretty though! I have a gringa* (*USA) comp for the first time since Oxa, Hna Jensen! :D She's the best. :) I'm really excited for this new adventure- as hard as it was to leave Huancayo, se que voy a poder progresar aun mas y que necesito hacer algo aqui* (*I know that I will be able to progress further and I need to do something here). :)
Les cuento tambien que este semana recibi una noticia un poco triste* (*I also need to share that I received some sad news this week). My abuelita fallecio* (*grandmother passed away) this week. But I am so glad for the increased knowledge I have gained of the plan of salvation and the comfort that flows from that understanding. I love each and every one of you and I hope that my family as well can find this same peace and comfort in knowing that she's in a better place now. :)
LES QUIERO MUCHISIMO y les deseo una semana incredible* (*I love you all a lot and wish you an incredible week),
Con amor y mis oraciones para siempre jamas* (*With love and my prayers forever and ever),
