Pensamiento Espiritual* (*Spiritual Thought): Mateo* (*Matthew) 18: 4
Pday* (*Preparation Day) was spent in Casa Tambo! :D Oh, how I LOVE being able to come back to El Tambo once a month. :) We went and bought recuerdos* (*souvenirs), went to a district pday to see Bernales and play volleyball in proselyting clothes, visited Bertha and Cristhian and Loysi and Obispo! :D SUCH a good day. :)
Tuesday was consejo de lideres* (*leader training)! We talked about becoming true disciples! We learned the recipe for miracles; goals and hard work and constant prayer and heavenly help! And I really felt that with God, we are limitless. :) I got permission after to go visit in Tambo! :D I visited Mary and she told me all about her baptism. SO SWEET! :D We also visited Leonardo, Lyn, Luis, and Jorge! :D It was brilliant. :) Then, they shipped us back off to Huanuco!
On Wednesday, we got back early in the mañana* (*morning) and then had a district meeting! After lunch, we went with the Pedro Puelles sisters to the clinica* (*doctor) because Hna Calderon had to get an x-ray of her spine. So we spent a solid rato* (*time) in the clinic, getting the diagnosis, getting pills, and sending the test results to Huancayo! Hopefully she gets better. :) Luego* (*Then), we visited Ana and Xiomara, investigators! And WOW. They read the folletos* (*brochures) we gave them and did the questions in the back! NOBODY does that!!! :D We went over the Restoration with them and Xiomara told us that she feels that this is true and that this is the path she must follow. :D Then, we had a noche de hogar* (*Family Home Evening) with Diego, converso* (*convert), and watched John Tanner's story! :D
Jueves* (*Thursday)! Today, everyone fell through, but instead of being disheartened, we made it FUN and knocked so many doors it was INSANE jaja. :) We went with Diego and Luis Alberto, conversos, to Historia familiar* (*Family History Center) and helped them set up their accounts and put in family names! :)
Viernes* (*Friday) began with planning for Week 3! Woah. SO FAST. After lunch, we went on divisons* (*divisions)! I went with Hna Calderon from Lima and we stayed here in Alameda! We visited Yojari, investigator, and her friend Maritza, new investigator, and talked about obedience, faith and repentance! Then, we contacted and visited Manuela, a new investigator, and taught a summary of the Restoration! She told us that she can see in our faces that we are true servants of God. :) Luego* (*Then), we visited Ashly, investigator, and talked to her about the importance of asking God! Then, we taught music and English. :)
On Saturday, we finished up divisions with Pedro Puelles and went to visit Xiomara, investigator! She's just BRILLIANT and has now read up until 1 Nephi 14! :D After lunch, many citas* (*appointments) fell through, but we visited Ana, investigator, and taught the gospel and chastity and she has decided to get married to her pareja* (*father of her daughter)- August 4th wedding, August 5th baptism! :D So we're turning into wedding planners for a bit. :) She's SO sure that this is true and that she wants an eternal family! We then visited Luis Alberto, converso, and talked about chastity! Brilliant day. :)
Domingo* (*Sunday)! I officially hit *drumroll* 17 MONTHS in the MPH* (*Mission Peru Huancayo) today. ahhhhhhh. where did that time go???? my comp gave me ice cream. I LOVE HER. We had correlacion* (*correlation meeting), lunch with a member, and church! Ana and Xiomara came and brought their little siblings, Franco and Michele, and Yojari also came! :) Consejo de barrio* (*ward meetings) went late after, but sin embargo* (*nevertheless), a good Sunday! :)
